Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox went to Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student and flautist piano over 3 years. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend to students and part-time work. Lennox believed that her abilities were inferior to those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative paths she could take. Lennox performed flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. However, she left shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. She was the main singer in The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. After that, Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva that was released in the year 1992. The album garnered a lot of praise from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs favorite blues and soul tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera, a collection four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. She released her first solo album along with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a social activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. After a brief successes as a part of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the pop duo Eurythmics during the 1980s. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992, with her debut album Diva. It included a number of popular songs including the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and Why. Medusa a studio album released in 1995, has the versions of a few of her most popular songs including the No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). Six studio albums by her solo and one compilation album, are the result of her efforts. |
